In this collection, I want to tell my story as a Mexican immigrant who crossed the border without knowing about the future, leaving my heart, my life behind, but with hope of dreaming about a better life. This is my story and the story of many others who decide to leave their loved ones to find the American Dream. And this is a tribute with much love and respect for those who lost their lives in the desert, in the jungle, in the sea, from every part

I think hope is the only way to keep going and not lose the battle as an immigrant’s survival. I want to say we are here, we are artists, we are landscapers, doctors, teachers, nannies housekeepers, sons, and daughters. Yes, I know there are a few criminals, but we are more good people fighting, working hard for our families.
